MTNL new broadband plans

With more of a whimper than a bang, Mumbai’s largest Broadband service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced that it has increased the Downloading Speed for its Unlimited Combo Plan-495 subscribers in Mumbai circle.

Now MTNL Broadband users under “Unlimited Combo Plan 495” will be eligible for the 512 Kbps, the faster speed during the night hours (10 PM to 8 AM) at the existing rates. Earlier the downloading speed was 320 Kbps (day and night).

MTNL also added 25 Free Local Calls with this combo plan. All new benefits will be available to existing and new subscriber from 1st June, 2011.

To rewards the existing Broadband Subscribers, MTNL brings the similar benefits of HAPPY HOURS UNLIMITED Broadband Plans (launched in 16th May, 2011) with the speed enhancement in its entry level plan.
